(10:30) Well, the rain got us again.  As soon as I got out to the airport, light rain started falling on Planet Earth.  Karma.

However, my instructor and I went over the pre-flight checklist.  I examined basically the exterior of the entire aircraft to check for scrapes, bumps and bruises...in so many words.  I checked also checked the fuel.  Did you know that aircraft fuel has no smell?  Also, if it's completely blue...that's good.  The presence of water in fuel is a bad thing.

Plane looks good...check.  No water in fuel...check.  No bird's nests in the vents or propellor...check.  All systems were a-go and everything looked good.  Well, except the weather...again.

Upon my arrival at home, I grab my hilighter and crack open my private pilot texbook.  Engine...carburetor...pistons...fuel injection system...fuel/air mixture.  I am beginning to feel like Marisa Tomei's character (Lisa Vito) on My Cousin Vinny.

***Sidenote: Another problem that's plaguing me...how to look fashionable whilst taking flight lessons.  It's becoming an issue.***

I am due to take flight tomorrow at 14:00 weather permitting...
